This eighteenth century house can be found in Surrey and
has two unusual ghosts - a brown hooded figure and a whirlwind.
In
one of the house's great gardens there is a small wooden bridge and it is
here that a ghostly figure has been seen. It is dressed in long brown robes
and its hood is pulled so low down over its face that no part of it can be
seen.
In another part of the gardens, along the Nun's Walk, a
strange whistling sound has been heard. People who have witnessed the
strange noise say it resembles the sound of a whirlwind and that as soon as
they became aware of the noise it stopped.
