Farnham
Church is the largest parish church in Surrey and has a variety of ghosts.
An
old lady dressed in white has been seen on many occasions standing at the top
of the church tower. On at least two occasions she has been seen jumping from
the tower into the churchyard below.
A
former vicar was delivering a sermon one day when he saw a mist come down from
behind the church, and saw strange dim lights and moving figures within the
mist.
Another
former curate saw a high mass taking place with a large congregation of
ghostly worshippers. The mass was accompanied by eerie Latin chanting. This
event has also been witnessed by numerous visitors to the church.
