This recently restored Edwardian theater is home to
several ghosts. There is a 'Lady in White' that haunts the main auditorium,
and a black caped man that has been spotted by many visitors.
A door leading to the theater secretary's office was
always thought to be peculiar as any dog brought near it would become agitated
and frightened. The door jammed shut in the late 1980s and the fire brigade
was called in to free it. Despite several attempts, the firemen were unable to
unlock the door. A few days later, an onlooker was amazed to see the door
swing open of its own accord.
