The original Zurich Mansion is a collection of short stories which were created by Bruce Schmidt.  Zurich Mansion Tours used some of these short stories as a theme for Lake Zurich's Haunted House as a fundraiser for the kids of Lake Zurich.  Zurich Mansion Tours is no longer associated with the village.
